LALA Land!

I arrived in LA at about lunchtime and amazingly flew through customs. Being on familiar territory, (I was in LA in October) I jumped on a shuttle to the bus station and got the No. 3 bus to Santa Monica. It took about an hour to reach the YHA which to my delight was only 2 blocks from 3rd St Promenade, Santa Monica’s main shopping area:)

Needless to say I spent the afternoon window shopping until I found the Apple Store. Not only did I want to get a macbook in the USA (much cheaper!), but there was also free internet access! I spent about 2 hours surfing the web and talking to Mark about which laptop to buy! I came very close to a purchase but couldn’t decide on which case to buy!! (typical girl!)

My second day in LA was very similar to the first! Lots of window shopping and deliberating over laptops! I finally decided on the laptop but also decided to wait until I arrive in Oregon as its a tax-free state!
